Botanical name-  Putranjiva Roxburghii

Common name- पुत्रजीव, पुत्रंजीव, गर्भकर, कुमारजीव आदि नामों से जाना जाता है। 

Family – Putranjivaceae

Medicinal used – The leaves are also used to treat allergic red pimples on the body.

Decoction of leaves is used for treating cold, fever, and rheumatism. For swollen and inflamed joints, the leaves of the tree are used externally.

The crushed leaves are applied to swollen throat of animals.

The seeds are sweet, acrid, refrigerant, laxative, anti-inflammatory, aphrodisiac, and diuretic.

The seed paste is useful against headache and powdered seed used for knee pain.

पत्तियों का उपयोग शरीर पर एलर्जी वाले लाल फुंसियों के इलाज के लिए भी किया जाता है।

इसके पत्तों का काढ़ा सर्दी, बुखार और गठिया के इलाज के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है। सूजन और सूजन वाले जोड़ों के लिए, पेड़ की पत्तियों का बाहरी रूप से उपयोग किया जाता है।

कुचले हुए पत्तों को जानवरों के गले में सूजन पर लगाया जाता है।

बीज मीठे, तीखे, शीतलक, रेचक, सूजन रोधी, कामोत्तेजक और मूत्रवर्धक होते हैं।

इसके बीजों का लेप सिर दर्द और घुटनों के दर्द में इसके बीजों के चूर्ण का प्रयोग करने से लाभ होता है।
